Yea that's what i have done and they sent me a new one. But my warranty is nearing the end. There must be some way to get them working again. Soldering the contacts/wires together again?

Shure 535 and bad/loose cables

Happened to me aswell. Had to RMA it and they fixed it. However now i had to RMA it again because of a faulty battery which only has 1 hour at most at full charge.

I've already sent my Clip twice to the repair center for a loose headphone jack and a faulty battery. It's a neat little player with good SQ however that's the only thing i think it beats my older...

Well myPodder installed itself on my Cowon, no Win installation needed. It's like a rar file where you can pack it up in for example the Podcast folder in your player.

Yea! It came with the fw version 01.02.16P...

Yea! It came with the fw version 01.02.16P installed but i did install it again to exlude anything fw related. The static noise is still there unfortunately.

Well i guess i have to go Cowon again. Thought the Clip+ would be a good replacement for my iAudio i7. I guess not. :(
