Yeah, my first one, from Amazon, did the same exact thing. I'd plug it in via the wall charger, and the screen & Zen logo would light up, but no charging indicator on the screen and no blue light...

FWIW, Amazon says they are now out of stock, so all they can do is give me a refund. I'm just going to pay the extra cost and get one locally at Best Buy.
