Hey.. I've just checked.. The profiles for setting up phones allow you to set left/right balances as well too!

Not the most ideal but at least you can store 2 profiles for 2 headsets of choice..

Found this player from Victor JVC and it isn't bad.. plus it supports gapless playback too! Tested it out on some big ass head phones and you can up the volume in an options setting to drive them......
