I used my 4 GB Clip+ as a flash drive (formatted NTFS) to install Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) on my netbook.

The Clip+ is good for more than just music!

Strange Clip+ Behaviour

Every time I try to access the "Info" menu, the player will hang then reboot. Sometimes it will lock-up and require a reset.

Recommend a decent yet cheap MP3 player in $25 range.

After busting his iPod touch screen twice and then losing it, looking to find a cheap replacement for my son.

I know for 25 bucks it won't do what the iPod did, but that is the price he pays for...

The one I tested with my friend's Clip+ didn't seem to interfere with the buttons...

I usually write directly to the card while it is in the player. I have an microSD to SD adapter that I can plug directly into the multi-card reader on my netbook if I choose.
