I resized my image down to 320x240 for quick boot-up, and matching the LCD resolution maximizes usable quality.
I also set the SupportsServiceLogo tag to 1 in thecapabilities.xml file, just in case.

Copying the image over to the player then renaming the file did not work for me. Once I renamed the file on my computer, then copied it over to the player, the logo displayed....

Just upgraded the firmware.
Looks great! I see improvements in all areas. Will have to wait and see if USB error from the 1.2 firmware is resolved.

I bought my player at a local XSCargo store here in Canada for $99. They offer a 2 year warranty for $19 extra. Still less than the $170 at Best Buy up here.

I have the same BSoD when connecting in MSC mode.
MTP works fine. I do not have a micro SD card. Mine is the 4GB model, and it has about 3GB of content on it.
