You have a great surface right in front of you. Just load up a white, red, green etc. image in full screen so you get one colour, and use it as surface to put the player on, or use it as a light...

God I messed up... I'm sitting in front of a different monitor now, and you can see details in the dark. My monitor (more or less calibrated) doesn't show that at all, the photos...
