For All OS, just put the e200's pp5024.mi4 on the e200v1 root, and reboot to OF. Dunno about e200R though.

The new 3.2 bootloader is just 3.1 bootloader...

The new 3.2 bootloader is just 3.1 bootloader minus the "Boot to OF if USB is Plugged" feature. So it's recommended to install. But not required to.

Rockbox and Sansa Firmware is like Linux and Windows in your computer. It provides a lot of features that Sansa Firmware don't have, as you can read in the Rockbox wiki above.

The command to patch should be this: patch -p0 < ./patches/anti-alias_fonts.patch

And about MacOSX, to build the toolchain you must install XCode to get Apple's fork of gcc.

It's simple. Just do this step-by-step:
- cd to your source root (the one that contains apps, firmware, etc. folders).
- do this command: patch -p# < path to your patch/diff file.

The -p0 works...
