is there any way of getting video out without using the dock? Standard definition would be fine.

i've never tried flac until I got an album The Ultimate Demonstration Disk #2
It's just 11 songs but 1.31GB!

Actually, the Zen definitely will play xvid & probably divx to. I know because I use AutoGK to convert my vob's to xvid. But the width can't be set to any more than 320!

it lets you choose to convert or not & also the maximum allowed bitrate
which is handy if you need to save space
