Compression level was the culprit

It was a high compression level. Strangely Sansa Clip can play it (with cracks), but Cowon J3 just freezes. I never run inot yjis problem before.

I considered to return it despite the great sound, unless I run into this Lynx/Leaf/Sense package. Cowon should buy it...

Auto=select works fine for me

I use ubuntu and amarok to move tracks to Sansa Clip.
USB in Clip is set to Auto-select and it works fine (I mean Clip shows as a device in amarok when I plug Sansa into PC).

I rarely if ever...

I've already cancelled my Rhapsody subscription, but I didn't deathorised the Sansa Clip player, so now each time I turn it on it prompts that I need to sync it with PC since my subscription expired....
