In hind sight I probably should've re-phrased what I said about the battery, 30 hours is good (twice as good as my Zen!) but compared to some other walkmans offering 42,50 and even 82 hrs, it's not...

Just an update on the Sony's, I found on my trip to London this weekend, using them in loud environment especially cars/buses they suffer quite a bit from external noise which I didn't realize...

I agree, not brilliant, but as i need them to stay in my ears, and keep quiet when walking, they are good. But yes, sound quality leaves a bit to be desired.
Just wanted to test them out!
