I can confirm the battery drainage issue. With the stock FW the battery lasted like forever, but with Rockbox it drained 25% in about an hour. But RockBox's features are so cool (Hello GAPLESS!!!)...

the new firmware update features left us with a sweet taste but wishing for more. is gapless playback planned to be the next big thing? or has sandisk not said a word about it? this is the only thing...

I have a v1 8GB fuze, and now I'm at serious unrest, knowing that there is a better sounding fuze 8GB version. should I sell this one and go for the better sounding v2?
