The nice thing about the Panasonic RP-HJE120 is that bass does not overpower the mids and highs so that you can hear all instruments in a song at a low price. Treble is not too bright.

The Panasonic HJE120 has enough bass if you use the largest ear tips included in the box or a pair of medium sized third party ear tip. Low bass will be on par with the mids and highs.

Try the Panasonic RP-HJE120 instead of the MX470 if you want lesser leakage. They are much more cheaper than the MX470 plus they are in-ear earphones.

Panasonic RP-HJE120 in-ears. They sound very good at a very low price. Bass is tight, precise, relaxing and not boomy. IEM(S) with boomy bass are rubbish!

I think you should try some Pioneer or Audio Technica IEMs. They have clear bass without overpowering the other frequencies and most of them are on the cheap side.

I just bought Audio Technica ATH-CK300m iems last december and it sounds really good. Bass is tight and soft , not boomy. Mids and highs are presented well. Good value for money.

Hi!

I just bought a pair of Pioneer SE-CL21 M IEMS yesterday and it sounds quite good. The bass is not muddy at all and the mids+highs are clear. Try it and you won't regret.
