The software it comes with does a magnificent job at converting video, downsizing a 32mb mpg to 6mb on the player. Takes a while but very smooth :p

My sister had the same experience. The iriver software is the best way to go, but she needed to format her player first, now it all works :)

Well...
The sansa plays video, but whether thats important i dont no. But the limited memory makes video difficult. It has a nice big screen 2 and it is newer but more difficult to navigate.

I got a H10
It really depends whether you need the xtra 3gb. I hav the H10 and it is a excellent player with good software (iriver plus). I assume the sale is at JB HIFI but im not sure. They will run out soon....
