For the record: my Sansa Clip, bought in France, has radio. Its original firmware version was 1.01.11F. Of course I had to apply further firmware upgrade w/ the 'A' letter (never tried the 'F' again...

Maybe adding a clock means adding extra electronics or circuitry and that's definitely not possible thru a firmware upgrade :-) (would anyone confirm that it would need hardware changes?). And BTW...

And according to my tests, ID3v1 'track number' tags are ignored. Works well w/ ID3v2 'track number'. This was at least true w/ firmware 1.01.11F, didn't test w/ 1.01.11[AEF] though.

Volume set to "normal", minimal volume level, and custom EQ enable w/ all ranges set to the lowest values -> mp3 volume is OK, but radio sound is still something like a 6/10 volume level, IOW no way...
