I prefer the ones that came with the player, they give a much clearer sound.

Well I'm now listening on the default settings and it sounds great. As long as the headphones go deep into ur ear, it sounds great. Mine were loose at first but then I tried one of the other heads.

I've just bought my new X1050 recently and have been using it for the past few days for my commute into London.

The supplied earphones are really good for blocking out loud train and tube noises....
