Ipod's seem to distort at the high volumes to me also. It's probably because they go for loudness over sound quality.

Yes the Zune HD was the closest to the zii egg but the cowon it doesnt have wifi for internet.....the zune does but doesnt have gps...guess i'll have to wait on the egg
