The problem with mine is more the touch buttons being slow and unresponsive.

UI is not good either, but the buttons often do not respond at all.

I think my Archos is DOA?!

Just unboxed it and connected it to my laptop and power as well.

The green light comes on for charging, but I cannot turn it on.

Anyone else have this problem?

But the Sony E Series is cheaper.

Battery life is similar. Both seem simple to use.

If you try to do it quickly, you might hit a "button" 5x and not get a response.

Battery life might not be so good either. Supposed to be 24 hours I think?!
