Has he tried a different PC? I agree with the centre button plan (obviously with a clip+ you can't put it in hold first).

As it was bought in the UK it would have a 2 year warranty.

Samsung announced a 32gb micro sd about a month ago, with production about to start. Wouldn't hold my breath though considering sandisk announced one about a year ago.

I use a sandisk 16gb class 2, a generic play.com 16gb class 2, 2x 8gb sandisk class 2 and a 8gb sandisk class 4 with no problems.

I would recommend one larger card, just to avoid the database...
