i have had my sgp 5 since january 2012. i use it everyday and it has probably seen almost 1000 hours of use and it's still going strong. battery is a little weaker but nothing major.

turning off sounds stops it. i listened with my ear up to the speaker and after everytime the speaker needs to activate it has a slight hiss after for a second or so just before speaker "shuts down"....
