I think this is going to be a bit more expensive and a lot more work than I hoped. You (freddie) listen through a cd player (good god how many cd's do you have?) so a sound card hasn't been a problem...

Fingerprints and scratches are not really a concern, its just that the face plate isn't made out of the best material...
