Yeh the bass goes big but i dont categorize them as bass head phones, instead modern music phones this is the way its perfectly designed for the way music is meant to sound from such artists.

Fiio is just about to release a new cable range for the shures which should be a cheap option. There is also some really nice custom ones on ebay........ie look nice and no way affect the sound :D
