Recommendation: Audio Player + Earphones [272$]

I am newbie and I need your help.

I am searching player and earphones with the best quality sound possible for my small budget. I owned SansaClip+ but died. the sound was not bad, but now I am searching if exist best alternative.

Location: Spain
Capacity: 32 GB or more
Budget: 150€ to 200€ ($200 to $272) approx.
Use / Fetaures:
I only use it to listen music (flac and mp3).
All my music is in format CD and extract to mp3 and flac. Transfer my music from my computer (windows) to the player.
Easy navigation.
Normal Jack 3.5mm
music: principally rock and pop. also some electronic music.
UI/Controls: touch if is possible
Battery life: minimum 7hours

Thanks in advance.

If you want touch, I'd say get a smartphone. The qualcomm devices all seem to have extremely good output.

For your budget I would recommend getting either;

1) A sansaclip zip and a new pair of headphones or

2) Try a Cowon mp3 player if you were someone that likes to tinker with DSPs/EQ settings (as Cowon is known for having some lovely DSPs) and a new pair of headphones.

Why? Well I came from Sansa products originally, I felt the sound quality was decent but wanted to try Cowon again, and since that time have not really went back to Sansa, I love the BBE/Jet Effects Cowon give, it's that simple. In terms of Cowon offerings we're a little restricted.

a) Cowon i9+ (capped at 32gb) but weighs 40g (my current player). Battery life easily good enough, 25hrs+

b) Cowon i10 (capped at 32gb), larger player 73g, similar battery life

c) Cowon D20 (if you can get) 32gb onboard + expandable memory slot (sd card, not micro), huge battery life (90hrs), 86g

d) Cowon X9 32gb + Microsd card expandable, battery life 110hrs, weight 159g.

All of these players will sound the same, it's more of a case of price and availability.

It may even be worth trying to pick up a second hand one, just to see if you like what you hear.

Thank you! :)

From your experience, what earphones you recommend for Cowon?
