Another suggest me some headphones
I am looking for some around the ear style phones. I currently have my 2nd pair of Kicker EB-101 in ear phones. I like them, but would like to get a nice set of over the ears. I have a Zen Vision M that I as my music rig.
I was looking at the Sennheiser HD 205-II, they have pretty good review on crutchfield.coms website. What I am looking for is something like that. Price range- under $100 Music Style- 90's rock? space rock, post rock, instrumental Post or PM questions or comments Thanks |
The Incase Sonic is amazing for the price, and beats most headphones over $150.00 easily. I got my second set for around $50 (sales come up on them often,...). Just know you'll need to get a different cable without iPod controls for most players - the V-Moda cable is excellent.

buy my Audio Technica WS55. They actually are great for what you listed. Bass isn't overpowering but very present and the rest sounds very nice as well. I have some post rock (Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros, Mono, Mogwai, Slint) and it is enjoyable on them to me.

Well I got a pair of the Sennheiser phones I mentioned above, they are utterly disappointing! Crutchfield bills them as over the ear, on my head the are on the ear. I forgot how frustrating the rubberized cord is. I have been using a pair of Kicker EB 101's which have a braided cord. I am interested on those Incase haas phones TDS told me about. The $50 price sale price would've great!!!
I did get a Playdock for my Zen Vision M, I'd you use a Zen Vision M and can find one of those Playdock, buy it! The Playdock sounds better than the headphones :( |
