Has anyone ever seen these before?

I found these HP's at Goodwill about a year ago but have been unable to find them online. There is no serial number to be found or anything! The only distinguishing factor seems to be that are noise canceling, have a replaceable cord, and have a picture of a stick figure guy on the side of them. Oh, and they also fold up!
Sound wise they are OK, not as good as Sennheizer HD 202's MK1. Great base reproduction, somewhat muddied mid-range (mostly the low mids), and it seems that it has a bit of treble roll off toward the upper echelon of frequencies. Also they are VERY comfortable to wear (which is rare for me as I have a big head). Just curious if I have run into a rare unidentifiable headset, or what. Let me know what you think! |
When I saw the "i" I immediately thought of Iomega, but they don't make headphones.
|
Right, yeah it's still a mystery. I've used Google to try and find them but you don't really get productive results form "headphones with stick figure man on them". Lol.
|
May I ask what happened to your Sennheiser HD202 headphones? In your signature it says they're dead.
|
My cousin decided to hook them into his stereo and crank it to "feel the base" and blew the drivers! So I'm thinking I should pick up another pair sometime, or upgrade to a higher end model.

Try the Incase Sonic cans,...I luv the MoFo's!!!

They do look pretty nice, I'm going to look into them! |
I can actually say you will NOT be disappointed. I have a set @work & a set @home.
|
Ascetically they look nice and I like the black and green ones, it's a little up there in the price range for me (but still not bad). They scream "steal me" if I was to wear them in public. How are they for Jazz, Techno, Heavy Metal, Classical, Etc?
|
I'm not into classical or jazz, but they go great with all the other genres of music, including quite a bit of other electronic based stuff I luv to listen to - including ebm and industrial metal. They really are a fun sounding can.
And they definitely don't scream "steal me". Plus, if your patient, you can find them every few days on sale somewhere for around the $50 mark. The sq is well worth $150+ IMO. |
Oh man for 50$$ I would definitely just take the plunge! Since they are as good as you say (I mean who would recommend bad headphones?)
|
Ive got a pair of them too and they sound very nicr for 50$.

Why do I always find good deals when I am out of money?
