Mp3 distort when added to zune
 

I bought a 8gb Zune and the last few albums of Mp3's I have added are all distorted with popping sounds and the music is distorted. I thought it was my source files, but I ripped another cd I own and it sounds the same. Earlier albums I added sound fine. It has only happened within the last day or so. Thanks in advance.

Look for and download (from cnet) a program called mp3gain. It sounds like your mp3 files are clipping, so that should solve the problem.

Thanks. I did that. I have been using that program for many years, so I figured that might have been the issue as well. It did not help though. It did lower the level which is good. I then reset the Zune and reinstalled all my music files and it seems to work fine. Really weird though.
