How to get my e200 to NOT display any album art?

Hello ABI!

I have just discovered the redline theme and love it, but I don't like the fact that it uses album art as this always slows down my player. The only album art I have in my music is embedded album art in the files themselves. Is there a way to tell my e200 to not display album art instead of going through each and every song in my library and deleting the picture in the metadata?

Thanks!

Use a theme that doesn't display album art, or go through and edit the WPS in your current theme to now to now show it. Manual section D.21.1 probably has what you need for that.

I'll try that! Thanks!

Interesting.

I've never had an issue/noticed a lag when playing music with album art showing. I am using the Zune theme.

How large are the images that are embedded? It doesn't make any sense to embed an image that is any larger than what the screen (or the theme) will render. Having to re-size those large images can tax the brain power of these little things and therefore slow down other operations. ;)

. . . makes sense

Most of my embedded images are 500x500 and I don't have any issues.
