Should we have a separate Zip forum or should we continue in the Clip/Clip+ forum?

Maybe each one of the three could have their own section? Of course, that would be a massive pain in the balls to sort out all the Clip/Clip+ posts, so I guess just having a new section for the Zip would be a good solution.

I don't see enough of a difference for a new subforum. It's still a Clip. Add Clip Zip to the subforum title and leave the rest.

Although I haven't used a Clip Zip yet, it seems largely the same. So playlist questions, merging of internal memory & sd card,etc etc would pretty much be the same. So keep them together.

It's only a minor update to the Clip+, so I don't see a need for a new forum. Just update the forum description.

An omnibus Clip/Clip+/Clip Zip forum--the Clip Zip just isn't different enough to really need its own forum. And it avoids having another place to have to go to.

If it is just added to the existing subforum, that's fine.....but proper descriptive thread titles will be even more important to avoid confusion.;)

I agree w/the posse - just add a clip zip subforum here in this section, as this is an update to the clip lineup & NOT a new player.

Mix it in with the Clip/+, as the rest say.

SanDisk's own forums have kept the Clip/Clip+ together, and added a new section for the Zip.....

It makes sense for SanDisk, as the manufacturer, to want to highlight their newest product in its own forum while minimizing the emphasis on the (in their view) now-outdated ones. Since aBi isn't in the business of promoting specific player sales, though, I think a combined forum would do just fine. :cool:

Maybe it really is a thing of calling attention to the new product: although the Clip and Clip+ boards at SanDisk.com now are joined as one, originally, the Clip+ had its own board there.

And thus the majority hath spoken, methinks. Lumping it together it is.

Can't you just add a clip zip forum like the Sansa Clip / Clip+ Rockbox forum in the Clip/Clip+ forum? Then everyone's satisfied.
