[R0] Battery capacity in mAh?
Hi all! I was doing some experiments measuring current consumption(draw) of the device in various contexts (DNse, battery charging...).

Prior to other measurements...What's the battery capacity in mAh?
I want to see how accurate are the samsung's playing duration statements and to see how much energy does really the standby mode use.

Without the battery information is a bit hard, tough because I don't want to open the device for now and the only source is the usb cable :)
And we don't have yet any rockbox or modded firmware to run a "current-voltage meter" during device use.

Thanks in advance ;)

EDIT: I'm assuming that when the battery is full, the entire current is taken from the usb

The results are interesting because setting the volume at 6 instead of 10 with dnse on should increase the battery life about 15-20 % (2 milliamps less)
The backlight drains like 6 milliamps: this indicate that if it is on at level 1, the battery will last one half
9 milliamps when device is on with no playing stuff

It's a 615 or 620mAh battery.

For the comparison, the Q3 has a 520mAh battery and the Q2 has a 580mAh battery.

The battery life I benchmarked (I did not take into account the sleep mode at the time):
1) Mainly MP3 VBR V0 and some OGG and FLAC playback, display used sometimes (Brightness max, display off time 1min), volume 15/30, DNSe normal: 25h (fw 1.10)
2) the same but with "myDNSe" enabled (user EQ, 3D:1, BASS:0, Clarity:1): 12h30 (fw 1.10), 16h (fw 1.14)
3) Non-reencoded videos, DNSe normal, brightness max, volume 15/30: 4h (fw 1.10)

In this thred thread Slade posted a picture of R0 and it says that the capacity is 600mAh.

Thanks guys for the infos ;)
I'm doing these measurements because I cannot reach the 25 hours stated, nor the 12 h with dnse. I think it's mainly the stadby. I should reset device everytime!

I benchmarked the battery life with continuous music playback so the standby mode has never been used in this case. It would have probably been less than 25hrs if I sometimes turned off the device and powered it on several hours later using the standby mode
