Portable GOOD Bar Speaker

I'm going on holiday soon and am in need of a decent speaker bar (I think thats what u call them, u know a speaker that has L & R and a woofer 2.1?).

Anyway I have my eye on the Ziisound D5 http://au.creative.com/products/prod...gn=FeaturePage

and reviewed here at abi http://anythingbutipod.com/2010/06/c...und-d5-review/

I currently have the Logitech Purefi Wireless (http://www.cnet.com.au/logitech-pure...-339290979.htm) and whilst it is nice and portable there really is no bass here at all :(

I'm in-between doing an upgrade to my car stereo so could see the D5 being used as a bridge system till i have summin sorted there, so the speaker would definitely be used often.

Juts wondering if the D5 was the ONLY real speaker bar option out there or if anyone else has heard/got any other recommendations?

Cheers,

Bruce

Alright, not many people contributing to this thread so I'll just talk to myself lol.

Hmmm... I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. The D5 isn't rechargable nor is its mini brother the d200... Hmmm.... I'm thinking anything that runs off batteries has gotta be poor quality?, but then how did gheto blasters work, they were pretty decent, is there no good portable mini ghetto blaster for use with mp3 players on the market these days?

Not sure about "mini" but this thread should give you some larger ideas http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16412
