Rockbox playback: two questions
Finally RB'd my e280. Couple of questions I couldn't find answers to in the manual:

1. During playback, is there any way to simply read the WPS (i.e., turn the backlight back on)?

Hitting any of the controls on or around the scroll wheel will turn the backlight on, of course, but it will also execute a command like pause, back, or next ("select" brings up the file browser). What if I just want to read the WPS without stopping or changing anything? I'm usually shuffling by artist or genre with the database, if that helps.

2. Is there any way to have it autoplay after it powers up?

One of my (few) gripes about my Sansa in the first place was that, while I could understand having to wait while it loaded the database, I hated having to keep checking to see if it was done before I could start playing. Obviously, with RB the startup time is significantly faster, but it would still be nice just to be able to hit the power button and stick it in my pocket.

1. I touch the Submenu button(the bottom one) twice to get to the WPS without executing a command.

2. Make the Start screen Resume Playback:

Settings=> General Settings=> System=> Start Screen=> resume playback

There is a also a setting where the first keypress does nothing except lights up the screen.

Settings>General Settings>Display>LCD Settings>First Buttonpress Enables Backlight Only

I use this about 100 times a day as it also allows me to accurately blindly control my Fuze while it is in my pocket. :)
