Reasonable 2.1 speaker setup for laptop
Hi guys, my dads birthday is coming up and I thought about getting him some speakers for his laptop whilst he's at work in the home office. I'm aiming to spend around 30-40pounds on them.
The trouble is, I have no clue what to get him. But he would like a woofer that wouldn't go all muddy after turning up the volume a bit like some of those Logitechs I've heard. Do you guys have any suggestions? Also, if you know some 2.0 setups with decent enough bass and still in price range I'll still be interested. Thanks Mojito |
Just to clarify, are you looking for a 2.1 or a 2.0 set up? You mention both in your post.

Oh, sorry if I wasn't clear. Basically I don't mind if it's 2.1 or 2.0, it just don't want it to have too weak bass.
Another thing, the office is relatively small, so there's no need to get something powerful. |
i was looking for the same thing. any impressions on this set?:

Logitech x-230 (cheap option, i've got ones and they're amazing for the price)
Audioengine A2 (they're 2.0, but with good bass) acoustic energy aego series when possible i'm gonna get one of the last 2 |
