Sony DAV-DZ310 - about "sub woofer"

i have a sony "DAV-DZ310"(850 Watt RMS) home theater system. when i listen to some tracks like "beats for my van" at a volume around 25 and above, then my subwoofer feels like it will burst out the next sec. i usually listen tracks at higher volume, this problem is not with every track but many of the tracks follow the same procedure but a low level(it feels like a disturbance at a certain beat point).is there any way to control this disturbance bass?

EQing the bass down would be a fix. Looks like it's a lower quality sub, made for home theater, not music, that just can't handle such bass heavy tracks at louder volumes.

there is no "eq" in this product :(
it only has dynamic bass, sound mode(music, movie, auto).i tried every thing.
can i use another subwoofer with the sony dvd player?

You probably have an EQ on your computer, or whatever source you use connected to those speakers.

i usually use a pendrive,i also tried eq(winamp) with aux cable but there's no such major difference.

tell me can i use any other woofer with it?

sony sub woofer replacement

I have a sony dav-dz310 home theatre system.
the bass quality is not up to the mark,so i decided to change only the sub woofer.

is it possible to change the subwoofer(i want some other "sony subwoofer" or any other brand) ???? or is there any other alternative??

Threads merged, no need for a new one.

How is the sub connected to the amp?

Sony uses proprietary connections, sub is connected through some sony socket i think
Should i upload the picture of the socket???

well try to change the audio type. you can try changing the surrounding setting mode viz. afd multi, pl logic.. etc.. check out the manual. its all in there. try switching dynamic bass and night mode to ON and OFF. you will find the difference.

subtitles

hi!! i have recently bought sony dav dz310 hifi system. my problem is with displaying the subtitles. i used to watch downloaded dvdrip movies with srt subtitles files on my laptop using vlc media player. but when i watch the same movie with srt sub files using an usb on the new hifi system, its plays the movie without subtitles. it gets an error saying "no subtitles recorded" when i press the subtitle button on the remote. is there any fix available for this issue.. thank you

hi what you can try is lower down the sub-woofer level. go to custom settings and lower down the decibel level to 0 or +1 (default is 4)under for front sub woofer. the noise will decrease and you will find a great difference. worked for me.
the home theater seems to be more oriented toward movies experience and not music. anyways i have started loving it as i have paid a lot for it...lol!!
really i forget all the problems with music mode when i watch a movie..feels like i am in a real theater..love SONY..
