American firmware for Sansa c240 - where download?

Where can I find orginal US firmware for c240, because in Europe firmware isn't FM radio?! Thanks

I'm not sure about the c240, but in the e200s, there is no physical radio at all in the European player. If it is the same case for the c200 then changing the FW region is not going to help.

uh, what? You CAN change the firmware from american version to euro version in the e200; I'de imagine doing so is illegal and if mentioned to SanDisk would void the warranty.

But like Vales, I too would like to locate the c200 firmware. It would be quite handle to mess around with. Anyone?

All I was saying Mark is that if the c200 was like the Euro e200 in that the Euro e200 lacked the physical components for a radio, then changing FW to the American region would not help.

Simply extract the mi4 and rom files into the root folder of your device in MSC mode and then disconnect it from USB. It will "upgrade" (or downgrade if you wish).

Be sure to pay attention to the region code.

A is America.
E is Europe.
.. Not really sure about the rest.
