Sick of stock buds, please recommend me some IEMs
As the thread title says, I'm fed up with my stock earbuds and am looking for some good in-ear phones.
I'm not really up to speed on all the audiophile jargon, I'm just after some 'phones that'll let me "enjoy" my music, as opposed to just "listening" to it.
I wasn't too fond of my last pair of IEM's (Sennheiser CX300-II's), so I'm looking for:
- Good build quality (the left earphone in my first two CX300's died after about eight months each, and the right phone on the CX300-II physically broke apart after only a few months, so looking for much better build quality if possible)
- Minimal or no sibilance (the CX300-II's were unbearably harsh in this regard)
- Decent bass, but not muddy like the CX300's
- Looking to spend no more than AUD$200–$250 (of course, the more bang for the buck, the better)
So far I've been looking at these phones:
Which of these would you recommend? (I'm open to other suggestions as well.)
