Better Business Bureau helped me get a refund
I purchased a refurbished Clix from the iRiver website on Dec 30, 2008 for $70. It had a 3 month warranty and iRiver's return policy on their website said "You may return items sold by iriverinc.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund". It arrived on Jan 9, 2009. I contacted them on Feb 3, 2009 and said said I would like to return the player for a refund due to a battery problem. They said I could only return items within 30 days of the order date not the delivery date. Since Feb 3 was over 30 days from the Dec 30 order date so I could no longer return it for a refund. But their website says within 30 days of delivery.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Two days later iRiver emailed me and said I was right and could return the player for a refund, which I did.
