sort tracks by creation date or create own playlists

I've just bought a new S3 and notice, that I can't sort tracks in playlists by creation date. Which is very bad, because my files are radio podcasts and I cannot distinguish new ones from old ones.

If I could create my own playlists and import them into the device that would help, is it possible?

Thanks for any help!

it is possible to make playlists once they are on the player. When in the main music menu select music browser (bottom) then pick your songs each time pressing the sub menu botton (top right) and selecting add to playlist>Playlist1/2 etc. you are limited to 5 playlists however.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't want to sort tracks manually, I may have 100 items or more. I would like to be able to sort them by date just by clicking on some button.

And, by the way, you can create more than 5 playlists and give them your own names. Just use Media Studio.

In the EomDio playlists section (perhaps SMS too) there is an automatic playlist button down the bottom which can automatically pick songs added during a certain time frame either bore of after a certain date or in a certain range. I doubt it will sort the songs you already have into creation date but should if selected 'sort by titile' sort any new ones how you apply that playlist to your player i'm not sure if you find out let me know. This might help you in the future but unless you added your whole library one by one (again) it won't help any more.

Well, I finally did the same as the others - install korean UMS firmware and used the solution described here:
to make your own playlists directly on the player and convert them to the right samsung format. My own playlist I will have to make programmatically in winamp format, which is open.

I find it crazy, that there is no easier solution!
