White screen of death
 

When i start my gigabeat, i get a white screen and then after about 5 seconds it goes dim. If i hold it up to my ear i hear a beeping sound like you would hear if the memory was damaged on a computer? I was curious if anyone knew how to fix it manually or atleast be able to tell me exactly what's wrong before i have to resort to buying a new one or sending it off to get it repaired.

call them up and send it in. it only took me 5 days to get it repaired.
