Samsung S5 date and time constantly resets!!

Does anyone else have this problem?? At random times the date and time will always reset to 2007, then ill change the date and time to the correct one. A few days later it will reset back again! Anyone know what to do?? Thanks in advance

Are you running your battery down to the point of going dead or very near to it?

Yes

The player does need battery to keep a clock running, you know...

The clocks in portable mp3 players aren't powered by swiss mechanisms. They need battery to keep ticking. That is probably the answer to your problem right there.

That said, you should read this about batteries and how to get the best life out of them:

I am having the same problem, and my battery is always kept at half charge or more, so there should be no loss of power to the clock, yet it still resets every few days. It's beginning to get annoying, especially since I sometimes use the S5 as an alarm! Any ideas?
