404, what's the best video format
 

i'm downloading divx movies from quicksilver screen, not sure what the width and height of them are, anyway, couple of questions....

i've some video converter, and am just looking for advice on what the best quality video to convert them to, with the lowest file size

1. the video dimensions for the 404 are 320x240, will this bring down the file size much, asuming the origional's twice that size?

2. what's a good bit rate? 1000kbps ok?

it has a built in 404 preset

1000k is far too much for 320x240... 300-500k is more than enough.
