i.Beat Cody - Who has one of these?
 

I was looking at the i.Beat cody

I like the way it looks, has Filename browsing and a card reader.

Anyone have this player? How good is it?

Looks interesting, at least on paper. However an 18bit screen, the uncertainty about SDHC support, and 8 hours (WTF?) of battery life don't sound so good.

This looks like some Chinese OEM rebranding, not a player they whipped up on their own (like the Vibez).

Jeez, even my AAA-battery driven MPIO FE100 had more. If that's the "maximum operating time" for audio, then what's the "maximum operating time" for video? 30 minutes?:eek::rolleyes:

Hmm... let's hope they meant video playback time with that. That would actually be rather good. But they really should indicate what they mean, when they put such specs on their website.

Please do not take offense at this post. It pertains to the idiot in the TreKstor marketing department that decided on the TreKstor i.beat Blaxx as a good name for a player.

I tend to agree. This looks like a rebrand job, you just need to look at the limited codec support etc to see that this is not up to the vibez's standards.

I was laughing at the name too... The screen looks nice and huge, maybe thats why the play time is only 8 hours.

It does look nice and small, but no reviews or outside info on it whats so ever... so probably will last about a week :p

Now "i.Beat emo" certainly is the worst DAP name of all time...
