Hey varaonaid. Just FYI, I'm still using the Cowon D2+ and although I am still really frustrated by it, I'm thinking of keeping it rather than returning it. For mp3 playback it is nice (although UI is clunky). The dealbreaker though might be video.

Over this next week I want to evaluate it more. If I can get my videos to (eventually) convert properly, I'll probably end up keeping it. The firmware errors are worrisome (because that could make the device not work properly even with properly formatted video), but I want to do more evaluation on it.
