The only one difference to your solution is that I have 2GB device: that is why instaed of
$ sudo ./e200tool nandwrite sansa-sda2 7813120 40960 by you I used
$ sudo ./e200tool nandwrite sansa-sda2 3885056 40960
That means, the begin of the 16MB partition is differnt as on the 4GB device.
