You can't have a flatter frequency response than the Clip, since it is already flat (no matter what phone it's paired with). Never tested a Fuze, but what I remember from over on the Rockbox site, it is exactly the same.

Anyway, the main goal of this thread is to show people old models they don't know. The models which lack are the latest one and you know them well (R1, M1, CP3, R0)!!
That's why update is not my top 1 priority. For the moment I have to finish and publish the review of the CP3 Then I'll review the R0 and maybe the M1 if I manage to get one.

I'm ONLY using it for videos, as the music playback on it is not the greatest. I mean the SQ is fantastic, but the way to select and play the files is a real PITA. It needs to have the D2's UI, then it'll rock.

They all sound the same, more or less - the O2 hisses the least with low impedance IEMs and has slightly less bass rolloff, so that would make it the best sounding one. Of course it is also the worst when it comes to usability, battery life, and so on.

That's how the Nationite responds with all EQ/SRS off... it's a rather bad player.
