I first want to thank you for all the "things" that made my p3 the best player ive ever had.
and yes, i have deadzones on the touchscreen so im willing to buy an new one
Since your a P3 and Cowon J3 owner, im confused which is better (i really like the video, rmvb-divx , support of the p3 as well as the Bluetooth File transfering feature)

This is what I was talking about in my initial post awhile back...I think it was posted by Chrisjj who said he sent the player back to amazon:

8 Track step causes a fast fade including two clicks and then a short buzz before the next track starts. The clicks and buzz sound even in Stopped state.

I'm not sure what exactly he means by track step but this consistent noise is after and before the start of each track...also hear noise on app startup when you see the Samsung name and RO. Do you know what causes this noise and have you noticed it? Very annoying...

J'ai vu que tu fais pas mal référence à gmp3. Le site est encore bien que plus ou moins mort mais le forum a bel & bien disparu. Est-ce qu'il y a moyen de le visiter sur un site miroir/archive. Y avait pas mal de posts intéressants sur le D2 qui est mon lecteur N°1.
Et bien sûr, bravo/merci pour ton taf sur Samsung, c'est une bonne marque même si la qualité du soft dépend de leurs priorités. (en ce moment je pense qu'elles vont plutôt vers les smartphone android et je ne m'en plains pas vu que je suis l'heureux possesseur d'un Galaxy S)
Dernière remarque : vu qu"il y a du "Linux kernel" dans le R0, on peut toujours rêver d'un portage rockbox. Je m'en sers exclusivement sur le D2, pour l'audio c'est vraiment le top !
