anyway, thanks. I have never use anything other then the "stock" earbuds, and I decided that I would finally get something better. but you would recommend just saving your money and not getting the amp?

hey robjrock I saw that you have a pair of the Phonak PFEs and I just want to know what you think of them. (I'm considering them and wanted an honest opinion )

Glad you're enjoying them. The Grados were reccommended to me by a few on here, and I'm sold on the airy sound. I don't use the cx300s now- my Sony EX500s are so much better- very warm with nice unmuddied bass and nice highs.

How are you liking your Grados? How does the SQ compare with your Phonaks? Different kettle of fish, I know.
