Transcend T.sonic 840
Using an uncluttered approach to the design and a case made entirely of metal comes the T.sonic 840 from Transcend. A 1.8-inch TFT-LCD screen is unaccompanied on the plain front surface of the DAP as each of its sides are lined with controls instead.
A decent range of formats are supported (MTV, JPG, BMP, MP3, WMA (DRM), and WAV) as well as a many additional features such as FM radio and recording, voice activated recording, seven equalizer presets and customizable EQ, text viewer, lyrics display, A-B repeat with variable playback speeds, and a battery life rated at over 30 hours.
The T.sonic 840 is offered in two versions, a white 2GB and a black 4GB. While prices and release dates are yet to be announced, the DAP should become available in the USA, Asia, and Europe.
