Archos 105 Approaches

Further information is beginning to appear on the smallest of the Archos 5th generation of portable media players. Subsequent to its unveiling this June, the first pictures of the 105 have arrived at ArchosLounge, which exhibit red, silver, and black versions of the 2GB player. According to the latest information, WMV video playback has been increased from 15fps to 25fps.

The 105 will be available for purchase as early as the beginning of next month, as Amazon are already offering a release date for the 1st of September. Pleasing to hear, is that no change has been made to the projected $90 retail value.

The D2 is a fantastic sounding PMP with a very nice looking screen and a tone of features. One of the best features of the D2 is the SDHC slot allowing you to add another 32GB to this small wonder. The touch interface does not lend well to on the move operation, but it is not enough to keep it from being an editor’s choice. Phonak Audéo PFE offer outstanding clarity and precision; natural, dynamic mids and treble, and decent bass for a single armature in-ear phone. They handle dense, complex music very well. The PFE work well with most acoustic and some electronic music genres, but bassheads might have to look at other alternatives. They're great for sports as well, since they fit very securely.
