Wi-Fi Enabled MusicGremlin MG-1000 Now Available
After a long wait this wi-fi wonder is now on sale. The MG-1000 is the first device of its kind to hit the mass market paving the way for a new breed of wireless MP3 players and music services. We reported on this earlier but here is a quick recap.
The MG is a wireless MP3 player that will enable you to download music on any open network wi-fi hotspot from MusicGremlin’s music service. Much like most of the online music stores, this service offers ala carte downloads as well as subscription services for around $15. But unlike the others you don’t need a computer to download music. Additionally you can share your music ad hoc with other subscribers on your buddy list.
It is priced above most devices at $300 for 8 gigs of capacity, but it opens up a whole ‘nother can of functionality.

Yes, but does it stream audio broadcasts? That's what I would really dig...
