Samsung SGH-i310 8GB MP3 Player Phone
Samsung will be unveiling thier latest MP3 player convergence phone at CeBIT 2006. The phone slash mp3 player slash 2 megapixel camera will run Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone edition hoping to create a desktop experience. Additional features will include document viewing, TV out, Bluetooth A2DP (wireless stereo headphones) support, dual speakers, and a MicroSD slot.
It will take years (if ever) for convergence devices like this one to take over dedicated MP3 player, but the i310 is definitely a step in the right direction.

Why would this take 'years' to take over from standalone MP3 players? Surely the advantage of carrying one less gadget in our pocket and the ability to play-out at home into big stereo speakers is a hugely compelling reason for this class of products to become populer very quickly.
I want one!
