iRiver G10 - Wireless Broadband Gamming

iRiver will introduce the G10 at CES 2006. The G10 will run on Windows Mobile 5.0 and feature a 800 x 480 resolution screen with WiBro connectivity. For those of you who don’t know WiBro is short for “wireless broadband” which has a range of 1-5 Km and connection speeds of between 30-50 Mbit/s. WiBro is a Korean thing so it is unlikely the US will see this device with the WiBro connectivity or even this device any time in the near future.

The device will play games and most of your media. Storage space will likely be 4GB and 8GB flash memory. More to come at CES 2006.

The D2 is a fantastic sounding PMP with a very nice looking screen and a tone of features. One of the best features of the D2 is the SDHC slot allowing you to add another 32GB to this small wonder. The touch interface does not lend well to on the move operation, but it is not enough to keep it from being an editor’s choice. Phonak Audéo PFE offer outstanding clarity and precision; natural, dynamic mids and treble, and decent bass for a single armature in-ear phone. They handle dense, complex music very well. The PFE work well with most acoustic and some electronic music genres, but bassheads might have to look at other alternatives. They're great for sports as well, since they fit very securely.
